Somebody replied. Automation has stopped completely for everyone below, handle these as real conversations. Worth a scan on a regular cadence since nothing here will remind you on its own.

Groups you want to keep showing up in, an alumni WhatsApp group, an industry Slack, a Facebook community. Tracked as one thing on its own clock. Logging a touch records the post you made, it does not touch anyone's individual record, because one post is one action, not one per member.
No Communities Yet
Add a group you want to stay visible in and set how often you want to show up.
Nobody in Nurture yet. Leads arrive here two ways: added straight to Nurture, or automatically after finishing the sequence with no reply.

Settings
The outcome label is the one action that actually completes a sequence, shown as a button once a lead is In Conversation. Finishing every step with silence never completes a lead on its own, it routes to Nurture instead.
Auto-fills into the Follow-up and Closing email draft fields the first time either is opened empty, so the slot for sender identification and opt-out language can't be forgotten. Replace the placeholders before actually sending.
Turn off anything you don't need and it disappears from the app. Nothing is deleted, switching a feature back on brings any existing data with it.
Changing this resets the switches below to that purpose's defaults. Your sequence, categories, and leads are left alone.
People who send outreach. Removing someone does not delete their past leads.
Categories to group your leads however makes sense for your work. The number field sets a nurture interval for everyone in that category, leave it blank to use your account default. Any individual lead can still override it.
The sequence every new lead follows. "Date window" counts from the Day 1 date. "Waits for a response" only becomes due once you mark the lead as responded. "Days after previous step" becomes due a set number of days after the step before it was actually marked done, whenever that turns out to be, and stays locked until then, the grace window is how many days past due before it flips to overdue.

How to Use GrowthSeeded
A five-minute read covering everything the app does. Come back anytime from More, How to Use.
GrowthSeeded tracks people you are deliberately building a connection with, through a sequence of steps over time, instead of leaving that in your head or in a spreadsheet you forget to update. Every lead moves through the same sequence, has a category, and belongs to someone on your team. The lists on the left, Pipeline, Nurture, and Closed, are the stages a lead can move through, in roughly that order.
Adding a Lead
Click "+ Add lead" at the top. Fill in a name, category, and owner at minimum, everything else is optional and can be filled in later. The Day 1 date is the anchor the first steps are timed from, it defaults to today but you can backdate it for someone you already started reaching out to before adding them here. This is also where you can pre-write the content fields that are safe to draft ahead of time, a note, a post snippet, a comment, and two email drafts.
Phone is optional and separate from the sequence itself, it's there for after a relationship has already started somewhere else. Once it's on file, the expanded row shows one-click WhatsApp and Call links next to LinkedIn and email. Phone isn't a channel to find or grow a network on, there's nothing to browse and no request to send, it's a place to deepen a connection once you already have the number.
As you type a name or LinkedIn URL, the form checks whether this person already exists somewhere in your tracker, including people you removed before. If they were previously marked Opted Out, you will be asked to confirm before adding them again.
Working the Sequence
Click "Details" on any lead in In Progress to expand it. You will see a row of numbered steps, this is the sequence. Each step shows as upcoming, due, overdue, locked, or done, based on how each step is configured:
Date window steps are timed from the Day 1 date directly.
Waits for a response steps stay locked until you check "They responded", for the first signal, like an accepted request, that something can move forward.
Days after previous step steps are timed from when the step before them was actually marked done, not from Day 1. They stay locked until that prior step is done, become due a set number of days later, and flip to overdue after a configurable grace window. This is what lets later steps track real behavior instead of a fixed calendar.
Click a step's circle to mark it done or undo it. Marking it done stamps today's date and, if it's the last step in your sequence and this lead never replied, automatically moves it to Nurture. Click the date under Day 1, or under any completed step, to correct it, useful for entering someone you already started before adding them here. A step can also require an email on file before it is allowed to become due, if it does and there is none, it shows as blocked until you add one. Nothing here is automatic beyond that. You always decide when a step actually happened, the app just tells you when something is due.
Today's Queue
The panel on the right (or above your list, on a smaller screen) lists every step that is due, overdue, or blocked, across all your active leads, plus any Nurture leads due for a touch, all in one place. Use it as your actual to-do list rather than scanning the full lead list every time. It respects whatever search or filters you have set above it.
Parking Lot
Use "+ Park lead" when you want to save someone with almost no effort, just a LinkedIn URL and a category, without starting the sequence yet. Good for people you are not ready to reach out to, or ones you are handing off to a teammate. When you are ready, open the parked entry, fill in their name and confirm an owner, and either save it in Parked or move it straight to In Progress, which starts the sequence from today.
Replies and In Conversation
The moment a real reply comes in, on any message, at any step, click "Replied" on that lead. This moves them to In Conversation and stops all automation for them completely, permanently, no more due dates from the sequence engine. This is different from "They responded", which only unlocks a single waiting step, a reply is a real answer from a real person, and once that happens scripted next-steps stop making sense.
In Conversation has no reminder system by design, since conversations move at their own pace, not a schedule. It's worth scanning that list on a regular cadence so nothing warm quietly goes cold from inattention.
Once a real outcome happens, the button on that lead's row, labeled whatever you set as your Outcome in Settings, moves it to Sequence Complete. This is the only way a lead reaches Sequence Complete. Finishing every step in the sequence with total silence does not complete a lead, it routes to Nurture instead.
Communities
Some of your network is reachable as a group rather than one person at a time, an ex-colleagues WhatsApp group, an industry Slack, a Facebook community. Add each one with a name, a link, and how often you want to show up there.
When you post something in the group, hit "log touch" and that community's clock resets. Communities due for a touch appear in Today's Queue alongside your lead work, with a direct link to the group so there is no gap between the reminder and the action.
The important distinction: a community is one thing on its own clock, not a shortcut for touching everyone inside it. Logging a touch records the post you made, once. It does not update any individual lead's nurture date, and it does not count as one action per member. That keeps your reports honest, one group post counts as one action, because that is what it was. If someone in a group also deserves individual attention, add them as a lead separately, and the two are tracked independently.
Communities do not count against your lead limits.
No Response
If your sequence has a step that waits on a reply, and enough days pass with no response (the cutoff is set in Settings, 14 days by default), that lead gets a small badge and a "Move to No Response" option. Nothing happens automatically, you decide when to actually move it. Once moved, it leaves your active outreach and the Queue, but you can reactivate it back into In Progress anytime from the No Response list.
Not Relevant and Opting Out
Two different ways a lead can leave the pipeline for good, and it matters which one you use. Not Relevant is for someone who simply no longer fits, a changed role or company, without implying they asked to be left alone, and it's fully restorable from its own list. Opted Out is for someone who explicitly asked not to be contacted. It removes them from every active list and the Queue immediately, is meant to be permanent, there is no button to undo it, only delete, and it's available from anywhere in the app since it has to be honored no matter where a lead currently sits. Even after deleting an opted-out lead, the app remembers enough to warn you if you ever try to add that person again.
Finishing Up and Nurture
Sequence Complete is reached only through the outcome action described above, not by finishing every step. A lead that runs the whole sequence and gets total silence instead routes automatically to Nurture, a lightweight recurring list rather than being dropped. From there, "Nurtured" resets a recurring clock (30 days by default, set in Settings), "Replied" moves them to In Conversation if they eventually respond, and Not Relevant or Opted Out both work the same as everywhere else.
In Sequence Complete, check "Moved to CRM" once you've recorded a lead elsewhere. Once one or more are marked moved, a Purge option appears to permanently delete just those rows, useful for keeping the tracker from growing forever once something is safely recorded somewhere else. You can also Archive a completed lead instead, which hides it without deleting it.
Categories, Team, and Your Sequence
Open Settings from the More menu to change any of the following:
Categories, however you want to group leads. Each can have a default owner, so picking a category auto-fills who it belongs to.
Team members, the people who own leads. Add as many as you need.
Sequence steps, add, remove, reorder, or edit any step, its trigger type (date window, waits for a response, or days after the previous step), and whether it needs an email on file first.
No-response cutoff and Nurture cutoff, how many days to wait before a lead becomes eligible for No Response, or shows up as due in Nurture. The nurture interval resolves in three layers: an individual lead's own setting wins, otherwise its category's setting, otherwise this account-wide default. Set a category's interval in the Categories pane.
Outcome label, the phrase for whatever real result actually completes a lead for your work, "Meeting scheduled" by default, but change it to whatever fits, an interview, a proposal accepted, a call booked.
Compliance footer template, the text that auto-fills into the Follow-up and Closing email drafts the first time either is opened empty, so a sender identification and opt-out line can't be forgotten.
Changing these does not affect leads you already added in the old configuration, they keep whatever progress they have.
Backup and Restore
"Back up (Excel)" downloads everything currently in your tracker to a dated spreadsheet. "Restore from file" reads a file exported this way, and asks whether to add those leads to your current list or replace it entirely. Worth doing a backup before any Purge, and every so often as a general habit.
Your Data
Everything you add is private to your account, nobody else who signs up can see it. If you want to confirm that yourself rather than take it on faith, open Privacy and Security from the More menu and run the check at the top, it tests the database directly.
Privacy Policy
This is a starting template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before relying on it, especially since it covers users in both the United States and the European Union, where privacy law (GDPR) imposes specific requirements this template only gestures at. Replace every [bracketed] placeholder before publishing this anywhere.
Check It Yourself
Rather than asking you to take the claims below on faith, this runs a live test: it tries to read account data from the database without being signed in, and reports whether the database actually refused. It checks the real thing, not a description of it.
Who This Covers
This policy applies to [Company/Individual Name] ("we", "us"), operator of GrowthSeeded, and to anyone who creates an account ("you"). Effective date: [Date].
Information We Collect
Account information. The email address you sign up with, and your password, which we never see in plain text, Firebase handles that securely.
Content you add. Everything you type into the app, names, companies, LinkedIn URLs, notes, and similar, about the people you are tracking. This is your data, we do not generate or supplement it.
Basic technical data. Standard information any web service receives, like when you signed in, purely to keep the service running and secure.
How We Use It
Solely to provide the app's functionality to you: storing and syncing your data, authenticating you, and nothing beyond that. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to serve ads, GrowthSeeded does not carry advertising.
Who Can See Your Data
Only you. Every account's data is technically isolated from every other account, enforced at the database level, not just hidden in the interface. [Company Name] staff do not routinely access individual accounts' content, except as needed to maintain the service or respond to a support request you initiate.
Where It's Stored, and International Transfers
Your data is stored using Google's Firebase and Google Cloud infrastructure. If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or elsewhere outside the United States, this means your data is transferred to and processed in the United States. [Describe the legal transfer mechanism relied on here, such as Google Cloud's Standard Contractual Clauses, once confirmed with legal counsel.]
How Long We Keep It
For as long as your account is active, or until you delete specific entries yourself. You can delete individual leads at any time, and can request full account deletion by contacting us at [contact email]. [State your actual backup/retention timeline once decided.]
Your Rights
You can access, correct, export (via the built-in backup feature), or delete your data at any time from within the app. If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, data protection law gives you additional rights, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. [Add specifics once reviewed with legal counsel: identity of the data controller, an EU representative if required, and a clear process for exercising these rights.]
Cookies and Similar Technology
The app uses Firebase's own authentication tokens to keep you signed in. It does not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Children's Privacy
GrowthSeeded is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 16.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above. [Describe your actual notice process once decided, such as an in-app notice or email.]
